Designed to operate in extreme conditions, the heat pump delivers efficient heating in temperatures as low as -30°C, while the furnace automatically engages during peak demand or colder weather to ensure uninterrupted comfort.
This system qualifies for all applicable government and utility rebates, helping make your upgrade more affordable while improving your home’s overall energy efficiency.
For added peace of mind, the system includes a 10-year parts and compressor warranty, along with a 1-year labour warranty.

A wall bracket is recommended for installations on uneven terrain or where the unit can be mounted to a concrete foundation. Mounting to wall studs is not recommended, as operating vibrations may transmit through the structure and be audible inside the building when the unit is running.

Furnace Size Options
Furnaces are available in 50,000 BTU and 70,000 BTU models, both rated at 96% efficiency. The appropriate size is selected based on your home’s heat loss calculation to ensure the system provides adequate supplemental heating when required.

The Tekmar WiFi thermostat is our preferred choice for cold climate system installations. It features a sleek design with multiple programmable options, and system settings can be accessed via WiFi or through the touchscreen display. This thermostat is an ideal control solution for your new cold climate heat pump.
Perfect Platform or Filter Rack
A properly constructed equipment platform provides a stable, level base for the air handler and helps reduce vibration and operational noise. Elevating the unit also allows adequate clearance for proper airflow and makes routine filter access and maintenance easier.
Sheet Metal
We charge a standard fee to connect the air handler to your ductwork, which typically includes a new supply and return run, as well as a plenum. Any ductwork modifications beyond this scope, such as adding or altering runs, are not included in this price.

This electrical package includes an outdoor disconnect box and pre-wired whip, providing a safe and code-compliant power connection for your outdoor heat pump unit. The disconnect allows for convenient servicing and shutoff, while the flexible whip provides a durable, weather-resistant conduit between the unit and the electrical supply. Together, these components ensure a clean and reliable installation
